service to NGOs. The main objective of Accompaniment
process is to assist the NGOs to develop financial
management systems in general and development
of Governance systems, Internal control systems,
designing of Computerization of Accounts, Development
of field level systems and integration with systems
at Head office of the organization. CPA will
provide a handholding support during the Accompaniment
process to enable the NGO to implement the suggestions.
process starts with review of existing system
and practices of the organization. A team from
CPA will visit the organization for the review
of systems and to identify the areas to be strengthened.
The team will share the finding with the Management
and draw an action plan for accompaniment process.
Generally, the accompaniment
process will be completed within
a period of one year with intervals.
frame will be worked out in consultation with the NGO on
case to case basis. During the accompaniment process, different
specialists from CPA will visit the organization to help
and support the organization to implement the recommendations
made during the review process. This process is participatory
in nature involving discussions with Board Memebers, Management & Staff
of the organisation at various stages.
Accompaniment Process will be divided into four
stages. As mentioned above the action plan after
the review process will be broadly categorized
into three major heads. Governance, H.O Systems
and Field Level Systems. The accompaniment process
will focus on each of these areas on quarterly
