Renewal of 12A/ 80G/10(23C)
The Finance Act, 2020 had amended provisions of Income Tax Act related to registration under Section 12A/80G /10(23C). As per the amended sections, all registered NPOs are required to renew their registrations after every five years. On 26th March, 2021, the forms and procedures for renewal of the above mentioned registrations were notified by Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
All registered NPOs having registration under the said sections are required to renew their registration in Form No. 10A on or before 30th June, 2021 i.e. within 3 months starting from 1st April, 2021.
